Saturday Song Post

I recently found the music of British musician Laura Marling, and although most of her music is different than the type of music I usually listen to, I have to say i'm captivated by her voice... Listen for yourself, here is a live version of her song Goodbye England (Covered in Snow) which I prefer to the recorded version.

  1. Yes, she has such a haunting voice! I like 'Crawled Out of the Sea' and 'My Manic and I' though I haven't heard all her music.

She used to be part of Noah and the Whale who is a band I love! My favourite of their songs are 'Blue Skies', 'Our Window' and 'L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.'

  2. I absolutely LOVE Laura Marling! My favourite is 'Goodbye England'. I was listening to it while it was snowing here! So appropriate! But I also love Sophia! I am always singing it to best friend, who is called Sophia! She's just so fantastic, I dream of seeing her live in concert. Can't believe I missed her cathedrals tour. I bet it was simple magical.
